Spotlight Coming Soon!

May 25th, 2010 by Svend Joscelyne

This is the Spotlight section. Here, we will try to publish creations from the fans in celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog’s 19th Anniversary on the 23rd June 2010. We will open this area soon with some art pieces and other work from fans in years past. But keep an eye on this space, because when it opens for public submissions you will get the chance to see your very own art, fan game or video showcased here.

If you live in the USA, can you still enter in the SoS event? Because I am living the USA and I really want to know if I can go to the even, I am a hug Sonic Fan I liked him ever since I was six and now I am 14 and a half, ever since playing his first game SA2B, I was wondering if anybody can replay back to me on how to go to the SoS if you live in USA?

There’s nothing stopping you from going to SoS if you don’t live in the UK… apart from 3-and-a-half thousand miles of ocean. There’s no problem though if you can actually make it, though I’d recommend making it part of a bigger trip – no matter how cool SoS is, a one-day event on its own isn’t worth spending £1000 and the best part of a day on a plane. Regardless, you – and the handful of people that fly over from other countries each year – would be more than welcome.

We’ll have live video from the venue, so at the least you can follow the event online.

thanks for telling me. But I am asking can you still get a ticket if you are in the USA, I mean do I have to be UK citizen really, I can’t do all of this at once seriously. By the Way if you see anybody in the SoS like Boozerman or thewax70 tell them I said hi and tell them I am a really big fan of sonic shorts and all of their hilarious flash videos on newgrounds.

  6. Yes, you can still get a ticket no matter where in the world you are. SoS tickets are the printable type, and if all else fails you only need the code shown on the ticket, not the ticket itself.

thanks for answering me Ian Bennett.

Do you have to pay any BP just to get into the event yes or no?

  10. Yes, there will be a charge per person to enter this year. Like the location, we can’t reveal it yet, but the charge will be very small compared to other conventions which often charge upwards of £30.

  11. Conrado Loza says:
